1981 Armand Patenaude establishes Air-Ins Inc. and pioneers first building envelope testing and consulting services in the Montreal area; Ville St-Laurent, Quebec

1989 Merger with Trow Consulting Engineers; Toronto, Ontario (disassociation in 1993)

1989 Formed Patenaude-Trow Inc. to expand on building envelope consulting and engineering services; Ville St-Laurent, Quebec

1992 Expansion, construction and relocation of testing and office facilities; Varennes, Quebec

1993 Company restructured and name changed to Patenaude-Chiovitti Inc. and later to Patenaude Consultants Inc.

1998 Established SRS Inc. and obtained general contractor’s license to provide clients with turn-key solutions to building envelope problems; Montreal, Quebec

2000 Established strategic alliance partnership with VP Engineering Inc. for services in the United States; Boston, MA (Patenaude-Trempe Corp. established in 2004).

2001 Acquired Consultex JBK Inc. to expand consulting services - company name changed to Patenaude-JBK Inc.

2003 Patenaude-JBK Inc. offices moved to CNE Varennes, allowing for expansion of laboratory facilities (Air-Ins Inc.).

2004 Established new regional office in Quebec City (QC) (Patenaude-Trempe Corp. established in 2004).

2005 Patenaude-JBK and Trempe & Associés have joined forces to form the primary group of professionals in Eastern Canada providing consulting, quality control and technical services dedicated exclusively to the field of building science.
